Well, for two weeks during xmas we were snowed in. Luckily, I am able to walk to work and my boyfriend doesnt have but 5 minutes to go to work. We were not able to go anywhere until xmas day. We had a layer of snow and then a layer of ice and a ton on snow on top of that. Needless to say we had a xmas tree with no presents underneath it this year. And as for others we had to buy for they got gift cards. There was no traveling into Salem from Silverton to go shopping.So thats what was going on for me and now as of last night I was up off and on all night keeping watch over the creek outside that had turned into a river and rose many feet within a couple hours. It did stay at one high level all night and did not rise anymore thank god because it started to pour around 1am and then we awoke to a dusting of snow. I will post pix of the creek/river tomorrow. So, it was a bit scary.
I did get a bit behind on things with the weather and work....I have been working more hours covering at work and trying to get the new manager position. But I have this weekend off and plan to get both sets I am currently working on done and order bits for the sets too tomorrow.
